Kia Service Reminders

Email + Print

As the senior graphic designer, I was tasked with creating new concepts for the Kia Service Reminder Program. The program included a series of 6 maintenance reminder communications to be sent to Kia customers at various service intervals via email, postcard, and bifold communications. The old program was outdated and was in need of a complete creative refresh.

The new design featured elements to make the pieces more personalized, such as displaying the customer’s name in the headline and showing the customer’s true vehicle model instead of using traditional service imagery. One of my most notable contributions to the project was the idea to design a “Service Indicator Bar” that showed a customer’s mileage at their last service vs. their estimated current mileage, communicating a sense of urgency to get customers into the dealership for service. Taking the concept further,in the emails, I animated the service indicator to say "your vehicle may be due for service" further pushing the sense of urgency.
